Whole lotta nothing

I am still here, still alive. My ankle is doing pretty good. I am itching to go for a short run. I have no pain walking, only some tenderness when I put pressure on the side of my foot.I may try a short run tomorrow.

I was on the bike on the trainer last weekend for the first time since the SC 70.3. I need to get re-fitted because my right knee flails out and it feels almost like my achilles rubs. I will be back on the trainer tomorrow. I have two days off later this week so I will try to get in to get my fitting done then.

I just wanted to give you guys a quick update. I am hoping to get back to regular training this week.

Glad to hear that things are looking better for you. It seems like everyone is kind of in that transition phase (quiet) between tri-season and "off" season.

At least you can get some pedal time in. That's better than nothing.

Thanks for the update! I feel ya, I've been having some knee pain and I think I'm going to ease back into the running very very slowly.

I don't know if you know Curtis or not, but I went to him for my fitting before IM FL. Definitely worth the money and about half price what others charge.

Yes, a good bike fit should ward off other pains and potential injuries. Glad the ankle is improving!

Hope your ankle is feeling better soon! Doug and I are thinking about the RNR 1/2 also and the Beast of the East to end the season in Sept. Maybe we can go together!
