Feelin good about the swim

Tonight, I had a spectacuar swim. I had not swam much in the last few weeks, because of my shoulder. Thr last 2 days I have been trying to address trigger points in my shoulder and it is starting to help. I am finally feeling some relief. I had a TT on my scheule this week.Tonight was the night to see what I had in me.

After 200 warmup, I did a 1800 Y/M TT. I did it in 28:48. That isreally close to where I want to be. I averaged 1:36 per 100. Depending of this pool (LAF?). that puts me under 30 minutes for the 1.2 mile swim. That makes me feel good. Now I need to work on my knee

Saturday. I am signed up for a local, fast 10K. I want to see how my legs are. I am not setting any specofoc goals.

I am getting really excited with just over a week togo! I just cannot wait

Wow, 1:36/100 yards or meters, it makes no difference to me, I'd love to have either!! Awesome.

Hope things go well at your 10K.

Good Luck! See you there. We ran the Ache Around the Lake 8k this weekend and it was a PR and a great confidence booster heading into taper week for the SC Half.

If you have any words of wisdom to get me to enjoy swimming, please share! I can run and bike to my heart's content, but to get me to swim is like pulling teeth! I'm jealous!

How did the 10K go? Hope it was enjoyable. I can't even believe that you only have 4 days before the SC HIM! Wow!

When we were driving home through SC this past weekend I thought about you. I was actually hoping that your event wasn't this past weekend b/c I wanted to be able to wish you luck beforehand. :o)

That being said... hope you enjoy the final few days of your taper AND of course, enjoy the accomplishment of finishing your first HIM event! I'm so excited for you!
