What a difference a day makes

The weather today in Atlanta was perfect...especially when compared to yesterday's storms.

I was up at 7AM and headed out about 815. I drove down to the north entrance to the big creek greenway. There ended up being 4 of us out for the group ride. It was a good course with a good mix of flats, rolling hills, steep hills, and long slow hills.

The course was almost 23 miles. My average speed was 14.6 mph. This course will definitely be a good one to keep doing in order to work my power and climbing ability.

When I started I wasnt sure how I would feel about running after being on the bike for 90 minutes. When I got in I felt good so I tossed my bike in the car and threw my running shoes on. I ended up running right around 2 miles at about a 10 min pace. Felt really good. When i was done I felt really good about the way my training is progressing. I cant wait for my first race.
